As a Baptist Church, Mayfield Baptist Church believes that membership is Biblical (Acts 2:37-18, 41-42, 46-47) and part of our individual roles as the priesthood of all believers through Christ (1 Peter 2:5). As a Baptist Church our governing structure has God as the head of the church with the members as those who wait upon His direction for how we run and direct the church. Through this, we delegate leaders who are representatives of the church who lead with this in mind.
At Mayfield Baptist Church, it is the responsibility of members to participate in the life of the church by following Jesus Christ. We are to do as He would do and live as He would live.
